2000
The group further expanded its markets by exporting & distributing utensils under PJS brand to Nigeria.
2002
PJS started the rice imports and distribution business in Nigeria. The rice was sourced from countries like Vietnam, Thailand, and India.
2004
We diversified into manufacturing of Steel Rebars in Ogun state, Nigeria. We also began with exports of Indian Non-Basmati rice during this year from India to West Africa.
2007
The year was marked with setting up of Aluminum Profiles manufacturing facility in Ogun state, Nigeria. During the same year, PJS established itself as the Market Leader in Benin for rice distribution.
2008
We further increased our Steel Rebar production capacity by setting up a second Steel mill in Oyo State, Nigeria.
2010
The group started its rice imports and distribution business in Ghana. Our rice Brand ‘Red Eagle’ was launched and it continues to savor the appetite of the local populace.
2014
Raw Cashew Nut exports from Benin were started in this year. In Ghana we expanded our portfolio by adding imports of sugar to it. Sugar was sourced from major sugar producing countries like Thailand, India, and Brazil.
2015
Raw Cashew Nut exports from Nigeria were started in this year. Another milestone in company’s timeline was the backward integration in the rice value chain through setup of rice farms in Nigeria.
2016
The group expanded its portfolio by adding dry ginger and sesame to the export basket of Nigeria operations. The group also started with imports and local distribution of the following items in UAE: almonds, cashew kernels, black pepper, walnuts, chickpeas, ginger, lentils and coffee.
2018
Our sesame export operations in Nigeria was further augmented when 2 cleaning plants were commissioned. The Group also added Turkey to its core operations country by starting the rice and sesame imports in Mersin city.
